Wrinkle treatment with hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid is a natural, endogenous substance and thus an important component of connective tissue. It has a high water-binding capacity, which significantly influences the appearance of the skin. However, the skin's own hyaluronic acid content decreases with age – with the typical visible consequences, especially on the face: the skin loses firmness, initially small lines appear that over time enlarge into visible wrinkles. By injecting hyaluronic acid these wrinkles can be compensated while the face retains a natural appearance.

For wrinkle injections with hyaluronic acid, Dr. Christoph Jethon uses Teosyal® products, a modern, synthetically produced preparation that is particularly long-lasting and is broken down slowly by the body. Wrinkle treatment with autologous fat injections

For the treatment of wrinkles, the body's own fat can readily be used as a dermal filler. It offers the major advantage that no allergies can occur. Wrinkle treatment with botulinum toxin – Botox®

Botulinum toxin – better known under the name Botox – is a natural poison (botulinum toxin A) produced by a certain bacterial species. The active substance it contains inhibits the nerve's transmission to the muscle and thus prevents its activity. Targeted Botox injections in the face relax, in particular, the muscles responsible for wrinkle formation.

Dr. Christoph Jethon injects Botox mainly into the facial muscles of the forehead and around the eyes. There, repeated and often involuntary muscle contractions create concentration lines, also called frown lines, as well as so-called crow's feet around the eye area. Forehead and eye wrinkles can give a face a strained or serious expression that does not always reflect the inner emotional state.

Dr. Christoph Jethon proceeds cautiously from experience when treating wrinkles with Botox, since its effect builds up only over a few days. The effect of Botox injections lasts in most cases between 4 and 6 months, during which time even deeply ingrained wrinkles can regress. Needling for the skin's self-renewal

Human skin is exposed daily to a variety of visible and invisible influences that all leave more or less noticeable traces. In needling, many micro-punctures in the skin stimulate its self-regeneration through endogenous collagen synthesis, i.e. connective tissue; medical needling increases skin blood circulation, thereby improving delivery of essential nutrients. As a result, the skin becomes thicker and firmer, pore size is reduced – overall the skin texture improves significantly and the skin looks younger. Dermabrasion

Plasmalifting

However, you can also contribute to their success through preparatory measures: approximately 2 weeks before your appointment for facial rejuvenation at PraxisClinic Jadore you should, if possible, suspend the intake of medications that increase bleeding tendency; these include aspirin and all other products that contain acetylsalicylic acid.
